On Native Women’s Equal Pay Day, The Riveter is partnering up with area leaders for The Phenomenally Indigenous Assembly: Together We Rise with and for Indigenous womxn.

Come celebrate Indigenous women and honor bold womxn who overcome obstacles, champion communities and those who are the backbone of our nation. This exclusive event pays tribute to the stories of native womxn leadership throughout history and in modern times, and their contributions that are often erased from the history books. Join us for light bites, community and a powerful conversation that seeks to explore the names of indigenous modern women leaders, entrepreneurs and activists, their stories, and strategies to show up to #demandmore equity as an ally for indigenous women’ inclusion, equity and advancement. Let’s empower one another to manifest change with and for Indigenous womxn.

We are still curating our full panel. If you know of a phenomenal indigenous woman who would be great to speak on this panel, please reach out to [email protected].

Everyone is welcome to attend, including men and other gender non-conforming individuals. We also use this occasion to recognize the pay gap that indigenous Native Hawaiian and other Pacific Islanders women face. Tickets are on a sliding scale. No one will be turned away for lack of funds for this event. Contact [email protected] for more information.
