Prior to this role, he worked in the private sector in a variety of product management and marketing roles for software and telecommunications companies. He has a Bachelors of Arts in history and political science and a Masters in public policy from Georgetown University. </p> <p>The presentation presents a framework to aid government decision makers in the publication of various data sets. While government data is generally presumed to be a public record, this presentation will talk about use cases where it is not as well as grey areas where the law and public sentiment differ on notions of what government data is and isn't private.</p> <h2>What is it?</h2> <p>This is the fifth Techno-Activism 3rd Monday event for Portland, Oregon!
