Business Plan Development Seminar - April

This seminar reviews all components of an effective, compelling business plan. You'll learn from two seasoned OEN experts why certain information is important and how your audience will evaluate what you present. Besides learning what is critical to include in an effective business, you'll take away valuable handouts and a listing of key resources.

Registration is required, and space is limited to 15 entrepreneurs.

I will be going over how to create a profile, how to navigate LinkedIn, and all the tips and tricks I know to better help you find a job and get yourself ahead of the curve. Code4Lib 2015 is a loosely-structured conference that provides people working at the intersection of libraries/archives/museums/cultural heritage and technology with a chance to share ideas, be inspired, and forge collaborations.

Preconferences are 1-day or a 1/2-day events and workshops that will occur on Monday, February 9, 2015.

Revolutionary Reads presents Cory Doctorow
Gaiser Hall, Clark College

Fort Vancouver Regional Libraries in Vancouver is bringing Cory Doctorow, author of "Information Doesn't Want to be Free" and "Little Brother," to Vancouver for a FREE author event. Cory is also the co-editor of boingboing.net and a contributor to Wired magazine. Cory's talk will be on March 26 at 7 pm on the campus of Clark College. His new book, Radicalized, will be released on March 19.
