Code 101 is a one-day workshop that's the perfect place to figure out if coding is for you. You’ll get a sneak peek of what a career in coding involves, plus a taste of the Code Fellows PDX learning experience.

Learn how websites are built and code one yourself using industry-standard tools and professional coding practices.

An hour before the start of the workshop will be dedicated to helping students get their computers set up with the appropriate tools.

    We moved into our new home in the Pearl District last month, and we're excited to show it off!

    We're opening our doors to the Portland community from 10:00 a.m. to noon on Friday, March 17th!.

    Drop by for a tour of the grounds + conversation & delicious coffee poured by our very own alumni Arielle Foldoe and David Chase (formerly of Lovejoy Bakers and Water Avenue Coffee, respectively).

    Crash Course in Agile Methodologies

    Code Fellows PDX

    The focus of this workshop is to learn about the Agile framework, methodologies and practices. Participants will learn about Agile in general, the Scrum and Kanban variants, and the similarities and differences between them. The workshop is part lecture, part hands-on group exercises. The goal of the group exercises is help participants gain a clear understanding of Agile, as well as practice the basics of Agile.
