In between achieving new high scores at Ms Pac Man & DDR we'll be discussing upcoming events, outreach programs and the future of the community for women in tech. Have an idea, comment or question? Held at Ground Kontrol since 2003, Micropalooza 2011 will feature favorite artists from the Pacific Northwestand beyond at both the Jupiter Hotel and Ground Kontrol Classic Arcade.

All-ages are welcome at the Jupiter Hotel show (2pm-6pm), and those 21 and older are invited to the Ground Kontrol show (7pm-11pm) as well!

4chan is having a celebration of 8 wonderful years, in Portland, moots gonna be there (as part of ROFLcon), drinks will be drunk, arcades will be played, cake eaten and voodoo donuts as well!

Meetup is 10pm at Ground Kontrol ($2 cover after 9PM, 21+ after 5PM).. voodoo doughnuts meetup after midnight.

Anamanaguchi invades Rock Band Tuesday this week!

The dudes from the chiptune/punk/party band stop in on their way to PAX to kick things off with a DJ set, then play Rock Band with you!

Bonus: Play the new game, Scott Pilgrim vs. the World, based on the comic series and feature film, with a soundtrack by Anamanaguchi!

8:30pm: Anamanaguchi DJs / Play Scott Pilgrim vs. the World

9:15pm: Play Rock Band - you can also ask a member of Ananamanguchi to join your band

11:15pm: Anamanaguchi closes it out with a few Rock Band songs of their choice

We need to pick some 6 digit winning numbers for our Karma Rewards system. In an effort to be not boring we're gonna make a little weekly video where we offer some news, try to pick some /totally random/ numbers and show off something cool about Portland. In our pilot we wanted to goto Ground Kontrol and get 6 people to play 6 pin ball machines in a row. We'll then take the second digit in from every person's score and assemble the winning number out of that. We need to do this 3 times. Shouldn't take more than 10 minutes or so depending on your pin-ball proficiency.
