PDXWIT Presents: Pathways to Leadership: The Power of Mentorship – Virtual Register for this event here: https://www.eventbrite.com/e/pathways-to-leadership-the-power-of-mentorship-registration-297097746357 Two Portland powerhouses are joining forces to humanize tech, create access and connect awesome people! PDXWIT + Cinder presents a panel discussion, moderated by Katy Byrtus, focused on tech leaders who come from backgrounds that have been systematically excluded from positions of power. We believe anyone who identifies as a leader is a leader. Your title doesn't define you and we will unpack some of these beliefs while discussing how community and mentorship (or lack thereof) have shaped career pathways for leaders. Our panel will feature professionals with intersecting identities who are changing the industry. We will get real, get vulnerable, and share authentically as we reflect on some difficult questions. There will be ASL interpretation and closed captioning throughout. Panelists include: Cinthia Manuel (she/her), CEO + Founder, Autentica Consulting Himalaya Rao (she/her), GP + Managing Director @ Black Founders Matter Trip Longworth (they/he), Developer Relations @ Garden Hope to see you there and please help us spread the word!
