Portland Podcast Cooperative: Mingle, Chat with Roustabouts & Dr. Kiki Too – NedSpace Broadway Hey Fellow Podcasters Let's meet again and chat, shall we? It's about time. We're overdue. On Thursday June 9th, at the glorious new NedSpace location on SW Washington we're gonna have a full on podcast hootenanny. There will be ample time for some mingling, chatting, talking, inspiration and perhaps even some overall fiddle-faddle. So, RSVP now and come get yourself some podcast connecting done. One thing, you can take a look at Portland's first podcast studio, AKA Bigfoot Podcast Studio. Full of audio devices galore and the sweet, sweet sounds of a padded room for podcast recording goodness. Also, during the evening, we'll be hearing some podcast insights from Dr. Kiki Sanford hostess of This Week in Science (TWIS) is a weekly, hour-long web and radio show presenting an humorous, often opinionated, and irreverent look at the week in science and technology. In each episode, TWIS discusses the latest in cutting-edge science news on topics such as genetic engineering, stem cells, cybernetics, epigenetics, space exploration, neuroscience, microbiology, the end of the world, and a show favorite – Countdown to World Robot Domination. TWIS broadcasts weekly at 8:00pm Pacific Time on Wednesdays. Oh yeah, the show has been running weekly for over 10 years, and has recorded over 565 episodes. Yowza. How does she do it? How to they make money? What have they learned from 10 years in the podcasting biz? G-Spot science, sperm updates, dinos and dung beetles, dirty wine...they cover it all. Dr. Kiki will share some thoughts and ideas on podcasting and her podcasting adventures. Then a little Q&A, then back to more mingling and whatnot. Casual and fun. Be there or be square...space.
