Drinking and Drawing
Someday Lounge

Drinking and Drawing is an evening of collaborative animation.

Each artist has 10 minutes to draw 8 frames of animation. They leave their last frame as a starting place for the person who comes after them, who draws 8 more frames and leaves their last one... repeat all evening.

Anyone can participate- artists, animators, people who want to experiment. And people are welcome to attend just to drink and watch the action.

The Someday Lounge is 21+ and non-smoking, with food and drinks available for purchase. This event is free to Cascade SIGGRAPH and Northwest ASIFA members- non-members pay $5 at the door.

For more information about how it works, visit To see the movies we made last year, visit To keep in touch with this event, follow @DrinknDrawPDX on twitter.

Learn About a Successful Meetup, YouTube, and Social Media content?
Portland Community Church

In this session, I’ll share how to market and run a Meetup; we've been running one the past two years.

I’ll share how to run a YouTube channel we've been running the past year. I’ve been able to include the Meetup as part of the YouTube Channel.

I’ll provide you with some ideas on how to share your content online by using filmmaking techniques. I have examples of how to create a story with script writing, filming, and editing with Final Cut Pro. I’ll bring my gimbal and 360 camera we use for Facebook Live. We also use Zoom for our conferencing, desktop sharing, and recording needs.

Lastly, I share a social media strategy on how to tag and post on platforms including Facebook, Instagram, LinkedIn, and Meetup.
