Science on Tap is a science lecture series where you can sit back, enjoy a pint, and laugh while you learn. Listen to experts talk about the science in your neighborhood and around the world. You don’t have to be a science geek to have fun—all you need is a thirst for knowledge!

Science on Tap at the Kiggins is produced in partnership with Washington State University Vancouver.

*A note on the suggested cover at the door: Science on Tap is supported, in part, by money collected at the door. We are committed to offering educational opportunities to adults who want to learn, so if $10 is a hardship for you, please come anyway and donate what you can.

Out in Tech PDX | Tech-nically Dating
WeWork Custom House

Love is in the air this time of year! The rise of U.S. dating apps has fundamentally altered how members of the LGBTQ community find partners and connect to one another. In fact, nearly two-thirds of gay and lesbian couples in the U.S. met online.

Join Out in Tech PDX as we chat about how technology has changed the dating game. You'll hear from the creators of online dating platforms and the stories of those who use them. We'll be discussing design, privacy, security and inclusion, as well as what keeps us hooked on these apps. There will be featured presentations, followed by a discussion panel with Q&A.

A BIG thank you to our FABULOUS sponsors who made this event possible:

WeWork for graciously providing their space for this event.
