#PDX11 Mentor Network General Meeting – SAO (Software Association of Oregon) After a summer packed with activity and progress, the PDX11 Mentor Network is convening for a general meeting. Agenda includes updates on software build, community survey results, new approaches to events, and upcoming milestones. For newcomers there will also be a brief overview of the PDX11 initiatives and the other networks. PDX11 Roundtable #1 - "Who's On, First?" - Building your startup team – SAO (Software Association of Oregon) Join the PDX11 Mentor Network and the co-founders of OpenSesame for our first 2012 Roundtable! On Tuesday, February 28th from 5:30 to 7:00 p.m, the SAO will host our first 2012 PDX11 Roundtable. This session’s topic is “Who’s On, First?” – Building Your Startup’s Team, and will feature Josh Blank and Tom Turnbull, co-founders of Portland’s own OpenSesame. The Portland startup scene is on fire with activity, energy and new concepts – if you’ve got these but need a candid, firsthand account on how to build the right foundation for a successful company, this Roundtable’s for you. PDX11 Roundtable #4 - Bootstraps to Boardroom with John Tortorici and Craig Froude – Puppet Labs on NW Park (old office) PDX11 is proud to welcome John Tortorici, CEO of Chart Solutions and Craig Froude, Former President of WellMed and Executive VP of WebMD to lead Roundtable #4 – From Bootstraps to Boardroom! This session’s topic is “Bootstraps to Boardroom” – a firsthand account of how Informedics and WellMed were started, matured, and acquired by Mediware and WebMD respectfully.
