Description
An introductory workshop on how to use arduinos in interactive art. We will approach how to design a project, break it down into parts, make block diagrams, how various sensors work and how to work with them, and options for output. We will go over how to setup and wire an arduino, and how to turn your block diagrams into basic processing code. The point of this workshop is for artists to demystify microcontrollers, and how to use them practically, and how to design a project to be implemented simply and reliably.
We are offering the workshop for just the(partial) cost of materials and waiving all other costs.
Prerequisite: none
Required Materials: We will provide an arduino and needed materials for you to take away as well as all needed tools to use in the lab. The ticket cost includes materials
