create Calagator::Event 1250475782 Lunch & Learn - Escaping the Government Pricing Pinch: From Gross to Net Roll back

description nil Organizations that thrive typically all have one thing in common: They understand what contributes, and detracts, from their bottom line. But mastering that task in a world of hidden government pricing is becoming a tightrope walk. That’s because government pricing programs can disproportionately impact sales channels—and paint a vastly different picture of a company’s financial status when comparing gross and net incomes. Small biotech companies are frequently unaware of the impact government pricing channels will have on their developing financial models for new products. Government-regulated payers—such as Medicaid, Medicare, VA, and DOD—often leave financial ambiguity in their wake, as smart, competent, capable companies can’t keep up with the changing rules, regulations and risks inherent in government pricing. They need a guide. Join Jason Hardaway, Managing Partner at CiiTA LLC, as he discusses government-mandated price controls, such as Medicaid, 340B, and VA—and the hidden impacts of each of these controls on your financial models. You’ll receive a roadmap on how to navigate their nuances and how to avoid their potentially devastating pitfalls. This knowledge, and an understanding of these channels pre-launch, will protect revenue and keep your investors happy.

description nil RSVP: https://register.gotowebinar.com/register/2731951442299603715?source=Morgan In pursuit of enhanced connectivity, scalability, and efficiency, cloud migration is hastening across all industry sectors. In order to unlock the cloud’s benefits, these environments – public, private, and hybrid – must be explicitly architected and engineered to suit the respective applications they will host, while also meeting security and compliance requirements. How do businesses determine their ideal cloud environment and optimize it post-migration? In this presentation, we will review and compare: - The physical and virtual components of public, private, and hybrid cloud environments; - The business considerations that differentiate each environment, including storage space, workloads, compliance, internal staff, and other business requirements; - The relationship between organizations, cloud providers, and MSPs; - The best practices organizations should consider keeping their cloud environment secure, compliant, and optimized post-migration. Our goal is to bring together and empower women in tech and to encourage others to pursue tech careers. This is our step towards reducing the gender imbalance in the industry and addressing the current negative effects of that imbalance on women. Our events are inclusive. description nil Interested in becoming a software developer and learning to code? If so, we invite you to join us any Thursday at 12:30PM to learn more about our program, meet our staff and see our program in action. We offer the most in depth, professional software development program in town and graduates go on to secure roles at a median salary of $75k, and an average of $82k. Everything we teach is done in person by senior software engineers, and every student gets personalized career coaching. We strongly embrace diversity and inclusion, and we are the only Portland only school. ABOUT ALCHEMY CODE LAB: - Learn from industry professionals. Experience the real world practice of software development in an immersive, in-person, work environment. Your instructors are senior-level developers who share their knowledge and practices to enter the field at an advanced level. - Be supported as an individual by teaching assistants and career coaching. A low instructional staff to student ratio of 6 to 1 means you have access to the guidance and help you need to successfully complete our rigorous training. Get prepared and ready to network and connect with the companies that interest you and need your technical skills and experiences. - Get more out of your code school. Go beyond online and video-based programs to launch your career at an accelerated level. With an average starting salary of $75k, our graduates earn 25%-50% more than other schools. - Develop Apps in AppLab. Alchemy helps Portland entrepreneurs bring their ideas to life by developing Apps for them. Graduates get paid to create them and add real project experience to their resume. description nil Interested in becoming a software developer and learning to code? A low instructional staff to student ratio of 6 to 1 means you have access to the guidance and help you need to successfully complete our rigorous training. description nil Interested in becoming a software developer and learning to code?
