Programming OS Web Spatio-temporal Mapping Visiualizations: Friday, July 31st, 7:00pm, Anna Bananas St Johns, 8716 N. Lombard, Portland, Oregon (back room). This month we will continue to work with OpenStreetMap data, downloading data to qgis and making a desktop map. After making the desktop map, we will create a leaflet web visualization.

This month we will continue to work with OpenStreetMap data and JOSM. We will edit OSM data and learn to download OSM data for use in our web visualizations.

This month we will work with OpenStreetMap Data. We will use JOSM to edit OSM data and learn to download OSM data for use in our web visualizations.

Programming Open Source Web Spatio-Temporal Mapping Visualizations: This month at MaptimeStJohns, we will be to continue programming web spatio-temporal visualizations, bring a computer if you have one. If you have not come before, that is alright because we will step through each visualization. I'll bring the js library files for leaflet and the various plugins we will be using. We will also practice creating a postgresql/postgis spatial database. If you don't have postgresql installed that's ok... I'll bring movies and then you can try it at home. Let's create some cool web map visualizations!
