Public WiFi

TaborSpace is your neighborhood gathering place. The coffee house is like your community living room; and the many spaces for rent, your creative work studio.

Everyone is welcome — in our 36,000 square foot historic church building, parents socialize over coffee while their children play, students study, entrepreneurs dream and develop, professionals work, holistic healers make well, musicians practice and perform, creatives make and teach and everyone finds their niche. We give you access to the space and the community to help you find the connections you need.

We are a nonprofit organization committed to creating a connected community, partnered with Mt Tabor Presbyterian Church in Portland, Oregon.

Do you feel like you are capable of living a much greater, more inspired life than you currently are? Do you feel stuck or frustrated that you are not using your gifts in a way that fills your heart and bank account? You are not alone, in fact statistics show that only 20% of people actually make a living doing what they love and that means that 80% of us are not living an Inspired life. But the great news is…you can create any life you want and 20 16 is the perfect time to get started or re-invigorated!

Join International speaker, TV Personality and CEO of Inspired Living, Keri Murphy as she shares Failing Forward: How Challenges Can Become Your Greatest Stepping Stones. She will be sharing how she started completely over in 2009 after closing her doors to a business she loved and how she built a multi-six figure business in less that 3 years. Whether you’ve been thinking of starting your own business, want to grow the one you have, or are just looking for some good ol’ inspiration, this talk with Keri will have you buzzing with possibility.

    The Future of Humanity

    Tabor Space

Join us for a discussion about where we're coming from and where we're going as a species! We'll talk about the promises and perils we can anticipate along the way and postulate what we can do with this realization. Further topics include coming technologies, current capabilities, and a history of the transhumanist movement.

After the presentation we'll have a panel discussion where the audience can get involved. Satisfy your curiosity and express your views! While the venue doesn't allow food, we plan to adjourn to a nearby eatery for food, drink, and further discussion.

    Tricia Mendoza - "A Novice's Perspective"

Paul Burkett - "Are You Ready to Have Superpowers?"

    Jacob Johnston - "Practical Transhumanism"

Zac Finger - "The Future from the Past"

Jim Walz - "The prospect of Runaway AI"

Dorothy Deasy - "The Future of Real" (extract from her talk at the Extreme Tech Conference)
