SundayApr 21 2013DIYBio Microbial Fuel Cells3–8pm
BrainSiloWebsiteTake a look at the link for more details - feel free to come and see what were doing. We'll probably have a short General DIYBio meeting before and then make the cells. Sadly we probably only have enough materials for our meetup group, but anyone is more than welcome to come.
Also, were looking for a way to stream data from the cells online such as voltage generated and CO2 levels. If anyone has any interest in lending a hand that would be awesome!

WednesdayJan 26 2011Exploit Workshop7–8pm
BrainSiloWebsiteThe exploit workshop happens every Wednesday night at 7pm in the BrainSilo hackerspace in Portland, Oregon. The purpose of the exploit workshop is to provide an encouraging environment to hang out and improve your skills at writing exploits. Ideally we will be looking at the exploitability of bugs in osvdb that mention that an exploit is commercially available or rumored, but is not publicly available. Challenges are being created every week to encourage looking at some existing exploit code, as well as fully understanding and automating the deployment of an exploit on live systems.
