PDX Rust: Jack Moffitt & Patrick Walton – New Relic Mozilla Research Engineers Jack Moffitt & Patrick Walton (possibly Brian Anderson too) are in town for OSCON & will be making an appearance to talk Rust! Patrick will be giving us a talk & demo RE: his NES emulator sprocketnes, and Jack will be discussing the ways in which the Rust type system helps keep Servo developers safe from the pitfalls of parallelism. Oh, and free beer & pizza for all :) |
