As many people know, Portland is one of the fastest-growing tech hubs in the country. What some don’t know is that a lot of the job growth is taking place in what is described as the “silicon forest.” Only a short drive west of downtown, you’ll find companies like Salesforce, Intel, and our company, SureID.

We here at SureID are proud of our female tech population and we are an enthusiastic supporter of PDXWIT. We are committed to ensuring equality, fostering a supportive culture, and establishing career opportunities for women in the tech space. To that end, please join us on March 9th from 5pm to 8pm for a night of networking and learning as we celebrate women in technology by hosting a panel with some of this area’s top female tech talent.

The event will be in the west building with free parking located straight ahead once you enter the lot. For security purposes, please bring a valid form of photo ID.

PDXWIT is a community-based non-profit organization. Our purpose is to strengthen the Portland women in tech community by offering educational programs, partnerships, mentorships, resources and opportunities. We are unifying a supportive environment for current and potential women in tech, all of whom are committed to helping each other. Our goal is to bring together and empower women in tech and to encourage others to pursue tech careers. This is our step towards reducing the gender imbalance in the industry and addressing the current negative effects of that imbalance on women.

Trans and non-binary people are always welcome at our events.
