Join PDXWiT #Action on Saturday, January 28th to attend a town hall meeting with Senator Jeff Merkley.</p> <p>Jeff Merkley is one of two senators who represent Oregon in Washington DC. This town hall meeting is an opportunity for all Multnomah County residents to learn more about the US government and how their policies impact our lives. All are welcome to attend.</p> <p>We are also thrilled to announce that ChickTech Portland will be recognized by the senator at this meeting for their great work.</p> <p>We will be meeting 15 minutes prior to the start of the meeting out in front Cafeteria. Look for the bright green PDXWIT T-shirts.</p> <p>PDXWIT is a community-based non-profit organization. Our purpose is to strengthen the Portland women in tech community by offering: educational programs, partnerships, mentorships, resources and opportunities. We are unifying a supportive environment for current and potential women in tech, all of whom are committed to helping each other. Our goal is to bring together and empower women in tech and to encourage others to pursue tech careers.
