Beginners are totally welcome.</p> <p></p> <p><b>Pre-reqs: </b></p> <p>• A good attitude</p> <p><br>• Willingness to learn</p> <p><br>• Willingness to teach others</p> <p><br>• Interest in product design or product management. </p> <p></p> <p><b>Agenda</b>:</p> <p>• Intros and touch base on everybody's skill level</p> <p><br>• Quick 5 min intro to product design & management (what do people actually do when they say they're a 'product designer' or 'product manager.')</p> <p><br>• Break off and work on our own projects.</p> <p><br>• I'm (Shiyuan) available for portfolio and resume reviews</p> <p></p> <p><b>Goals:</b></p> <p>• Build a richer community around product thinking and product design in Portland. <b><br></b></p> <p>• Develop your skills in this space.</p> <p><br>• Meet like-minded people doing similar work. </p> <p><br>• Build side projects.</p> <p><br>• Career development in product and design.</p> <p></p> <p><b>Details</b>:</p> <p>This goes on every 3rd Tuesday of the month (tentatively). </p> <p>Here's our Github repository for links to resources:<a href="https://github.com/wwcodeportland/study-nights/tree/master/design-study-nights" class="linkified">https://github.com/wwcodeportland/study-nights/tree/master/design-study-nights</a>.
