Description

An Introduction to OpenStreetMap-- "the project that creates and distributes free geographic data for the world." (https://wiki.openstreetmap.org/wiki/Main_Page)

A introduction to OpenStreetMap followed by an opportunity to add local Points of Interest to OpenStreetMap by using iD, ( https://wiki.openstreetmap.org/wiki/ID). iD is simple to use, runs in a browser, and has built in hints to help learn OpenStreetMap conventions.

No computer required. We will use the North Portland Public Library Lab computers.
