Experiences of working on a new package will be discussed, application area opportunities, and a demo of the R-Shiny web app will be covered.</p> <p><em>Okay, that was a mouthful.</em> How do we use this? DEA can be used for benchmarking a wide range of applications including schools, factories, employees, and hospitals.</p> <p>A new approach for technology forecasting using DEA, TFDEA, has been developed at Portland State and allows us to predict where product technology is moving.
