FreeNAS is based on NanoBSD, a FreeBSD sub-project for embedded systems and includes support for the ZFS filesystem, Apple AFP clients, Unix NFS clients, Windows CIFS shares, iSCSI targets and useful niceties such as TFTP support.</p> <p>Bring any systems that you want to test with FreeNAS, particularly Windows ones as Michael does not have any.
