Access Notes

We're on the 11th floor, come on up. Non-members park bikes outside the building. Paid car parking is connected to the building, and a SmartPark is two blocks away near Target. Located on SW 10th and Washington, between Target and Powell's, on the big block of food carts. We're on the Streetcar line, a block from the Red and Blue MAX lines, and a 5-minute walk from the Green, Yellow, Orange lines.

The January 2012 meeting will change things up. A conference room in Collective Agency[1] has been reserved so we can do presentations.

The headline event for January is Tristan Worthington and Grant Thomas of Dark Horse Comics who will be presenting the newly released Comic Reader app[2] for Android. There is time for another short presentation if someone would like to show off something they have worked on recently[3].

The start time is the usual second-monday at 6:30pm.

Collective Agency is in oldtown/downtown portland and they provide "co-working" style office space for telecommuters, entrepreneurs, etc.. They graciously provide meeting space for free to groups such as ours.

Like most tech user group meetings in Portland, a walking-distance pub will be selected so that afterwards folks can mingle and chat.
