Website
Description
You just found out you didn't make it to the short list of the Portland Seed Fund. You just lost a customer. As an entrepreneur, how do you face setbacks and challenges? How does an entrepreneur acquire a mindset for success? Starting out as an entrepreneur is like facing an empty canvas. You have great ideas and you feel the flow of creativity, but embracing uncertainty is daunting. Besides, there are practical issues โ health insurance, getting an office, a product idea that is unique. Once you start your business, how do you sustain its growth through planning and operational excellence? And what makes a good leader?
Very few people realize that there are specific methods to acheive your professional goals. Whether you are an entrpreneur, or someone in a company, there are concrete tools you can use to face challenges or ignite that creative spark in you.
Attend a workshop facilitated by business consultant Tony Cardo, operations management expert, Prakalpa Bastianpillai, TiE Executive Director and Writing/Editing Consultant Lakshmi Jagannathan and Sanjay Vankudre, President IEM Solutions. Meet other entrepreneurs talk about your ideas and issues, and brainstorm about achieving your business goals in an informal setting.
