create Calagator::Event 1250476564 PDX Exploit Workshop Roll back

description nil Hey everybody. Got a bug you just can't land? Is there a recent CVE you've been eyeballing seductively? Just want to brush up on your APPSEC or OPSEC? Do none of the above questions make any sense, but you're interested in computer security? PDX Exploit Workshop is the longest running security meetup in Portland (10 years!). It's an open, self driven event for people interested in computer security. Whether you're a novice or career professional, all are welcome. It's always a good time to learn about security! We spend this dedicated time each week researching and exploring topics of software and hardware security as well as working on personal and group projects. Occasionally we have presentations on our findings. Bring a willingness to learn, a curiosity about security, and/or a specific area of interest to share with others. This group meets in the PDX Hackerspace mainspace which has comfy seating, deluxe wifi (thanks Kyle!), Club Mate soda in the snack shack, and hackable LED displays to play around with. p.s. This event is open to everyone! No ^H membership is required to attend. All are welcome. That means you!

description nil Join us for another night of meeting new friends and chill design conversations over food and drinks. Your hosts are Rachel Glaves and Leo LaCroix, both local UX designers. Welcome! We hope you swing by and say hi. Venue note: For fall we're still meeting at the food cart pod at 11th and SE Madison. We'll be in the west area of the pod with the covered picnic tables under the heaters, behind most of the food trucks. The pod has a beer cart and many food options - come enjoy dinner with us! It may be a bit rainy, but it shouldn't be too cold plus there are covered areas to sit with heaters! See you there.

description nil Racing: The Inside Scoop from Driving to Engineering Brad McAllister, the 2019 Trans Am 2 West Coast Champion, will talk about his Trans Am 2 Mustang currently on display at World of Speed. He’ll also share tips on how to get started in racing at any age, from 4-year-old kids to adults in their 80s. This is a great chance to learn about how his team, along with local sponsors Dick’s MacKenzie Ford and K1speed, will be using the car for numerous promotional events to raise funds and awareness for the JDRF (Juvenile Diabetes Research Foundation). For over 50 years the Trans Am Racing Series Muscle Car Challenge has been home for many on-track battles between the Ford Mustang, Dodge Challenger, and Chevy Camaro. 2019 was no exception, when only a three-point margin at the season’s end gave Mustang #24 the West Coast Trans Am Championship, with local Portland driver Brad McAllister behind the wheel. This Mustang has a winning heritage, sitting on the top step of the podium following races at Portland, COTA, Laguna Seca, Willow Springs, and Thunderhill during the 2017-2019 seasons. Brad’s 351ci Ford Racing motor puts out over 500hp, even with a significant restrictor. It can reach top speeds of over 170 mph, G forces in excess of 2 Gs, and has no ABS or traction control, with a cockpit nearing 150 degrees.
