<p><strong>Talk by Logan Kleier</strong> - Logan is the City of Portland's Information Security & Privacy Officer. His experience spans multiple areas of technological policy, including work as an internet policy analyst with the GAO and manager of municipal wireless.</p>

<h2>Event Description</h2>
<p><strong>Talk by Logan Kleier</strong> Talk by Logan Kleier - Logan is the chief information security and privacy officer for the City of Portland. Prior to this role, he worked in the private sector in a variety of product management and marketing roles for software and telecommunications companies. He has a Bachelors of Arts in history and political science and a Masters in public policy from Georgetown University. </p>
<p>The presentation presents a framework to aid government decision makers in the publication of various data sets. While government data is generally presumed to be a public record, this presentation will talk about use cases where it is not as well as grey areas where the law and public sentiment differ on notions of what government data is and isn't private.</p>
