Concrete5 is an amazing content management system that just went open source last year. The community is taking off and the core developers are here in portland. Come drink a lot of beer and have a lot of fun at a casual get together where we can all let off steam.

Portland Indie Game Squad is running Skull Girls and Super Smash Bros video game tournaments with prizes, DJ Switch from Dangerous Kids is DJing the geeky tunes, and we have guests from your favorite local podcasts and geeky groups! Prizes are being provided by Jupiter Hotel, Ground Kontrol and Sock Dreams!

Come join Out in Tech Portland for our October Social at Crush Bar!

Out in Tech unites the LGBTQ+ tech community, empowering aspiring tech leaders to improve our world by showcasing accomplished speakers, producing timely and thought-provoking events, and connecting our members to new opportunities and each other. As a 501(c)(3) non-profit, we provide resources and mentorship to ensure career access for LGBTQ youth and provide web services for LGBTQ activists around the world.

If you are interested in connecting with the Out in Tech PDX chapter, want to meet some fabulous people or are apart of / interested in the Tech industry, then come mingle with us and have a few drinks. We'll be at Crush Bar on Tuesday, October 2nd from 6:00 - 9:30pm. We are looking forward to seeing everyone there!
