Description
In addition to key pairs, Secure Shell (SSH) supports authentication using certificates, which can provide improved security and decreased administrative burden. This talk covers how these certificates work and how to set them up. (Secure Shell certificates are much simpler than X.509/TLS certificates.)
Ian Shearin (they, them) has been using Linux and Secure Shell (SSH) personally and professionally for over a decade, but has only recently learned about and starting using certificates for SSH.
