Peace, Love and Retail: The Art and Science of Selling Your Stuff, a workshop with global go-to-market expert, David Brown.

Learn the essentials of how to sell your product from the global go-to-market expert, David Brown. This workshop focuses on getting your product into the hands of the consumer.

Learn the fundamental criteria for different avenues of your product placement. Begin to ask the right questions, understand your marketplace, and create a sustainable business for both you and the retailer. We’ll concentrate what’s important to retailers of any size and your own selling opportunities. Hone your retail acumen by focusing on sales metrics, sales drivers, and analytics. You’ll leave our workshop equipped with a general understanding of the crazy world of retail, along with a checklist of key points applicable to your distribution method.

David Brown is a global, go-to-market expert. He has over three decades of commercial marketplace success building and driving profitable brands and creating sustainable business models for future growth. He believes strongly in sales planning, analytics, and new business development, and has a critical understanding of consumer-based, diverse athletic and fashion products after working with brands like NIKE, Jordan, and Geox. David spent over 30 successful years at NIKE, including 4 years as VP of Merchandising where he focused on sales, merchandising and product marketing to grow retailers and distribution in an ultra-competitive marketplace. A versatile expert in his field, David has consulted for start-ups like Wildfang (Portland, OR), worked in international fashion for Geox, Inc. (Italy), and taught courses in Sports Product Management at the University of Oregon.
