To ensure an accurate count for dinner, please reply by Monday, May 17th.</p> <p>Abstract:</p> <p>The presentation will include a forensic analysis of a 2003 Salem house explosion which involved a confluence of clues from water, gas, cable, and electrical utilities. The investigation and findings from this incident will be presented. Time permitting, an electrocution involving a hot wire foam cutter will also be presented.</p> <p>Presenter:</p> <p>Mr. Bilancia is an electrical and electronic forensic and consulting engineer with HTRI, provides root-cause failure analysis, fire investigation, and expert witness testimony for the insurance industry and legal industries. See bio below.</p> <p>Directions to the Red Lion Hotel:</p> <p>From Interstate 5 Southbound, take Exit 302A. Proceed through the intersection at Broadway, go one block and turn left at Weidler Street. Go 5 blocks and turn right on M.L. King Blvd and proceed 5 blocks. Turn left on Hassalo Street and the hotel is on your right.</p> <p>From Interstate 5 Northbound, take Exit 302A. Turn right on Weidler Street. Go 4 blocks and turn right on M.L. King Blvd and proceed 5 blocks. Turn left on Hassalo Street and the hotel is on your right.</p> <p>From Interstate 84 Westbound, take Exit 1. Proceed through the traffic signal and continue westbound on Lloyd Blvd for approximately 5 blocks. Turn right on Grand Avenue and go 6 blocks. The hotel is on your left. You many enter the parking area directly from Grand Avenue or proceed 1 block north and turn left on Hassalo Street.
