Genentech, Hillsboro
A 75-acre property situated 20 miles west of Portland, the Hillsboro campus is Genentech's west coast distribution center. In addition, Hillsboro is the site of a new state-of-the-art fill/finish facility.
The plant design is based on LEAN, 6-Sigma principles and will manage everything from formulation through packaging, significantly reducing product cycle times. By the end of 2015, Genentech expects to employ 300 talented individuals at this location.
