    Wondering what Lunch 2.0 is?

Lunch 2.0 is a phenomenon that began in Silicon Valley. You can read about their current events and the history behind Lunch 2.0 at lunch20.com.

Note - this meeting is once again on the third Wednesday instead of the fourth, due to a conflict with Macworld.

The topic will be Mapping on iOS, and possibly also on Mac. The previously scheduled Xcode 4 discussion has been postponed.

We will head out afterwards for beer and discussion.

Our topic will be OpenGL... and beer, always beer.

This month's meeting is on the third Wednesday, rather than the fourth, to avoid conflicting with Thanskgiving. Also, there will be no meeting in December. 'Tis the season for holiday conflicts!

Note - this meeting will NOT be at BrainSilo! We will be meeting at the new Small Society offices.

We will be discussing graphic design for programmers. There are plenty of resources out there on how to use the various programs... much less so on how to really use them, how to break down the image in your mind into its component parts and put them together until it looks like what you want. And now that we're in the iOS Era, having some graphics skill is just as important as knowing Cocoa Touch if you want to build your own apps.

This meeting can include any topic that's graphics or image related, whether it's creating them, using them, or just demoing your favorite program(s).
