SundayMay 1 2022Portland BitDevs (Bitcoin Developers) Socratic Seminar #2
Portland BitDevs is strictly focused on Bitcoin & the Lightning Network! With that said, this meetup is for EVERYONE of all Bitcoin knowledge levels (technical & general).
Socratic Seminar 1st Sunday of each month
The Socratic Seminar events are formatted to foster debate, information sharing, and lively discussion. Inspired by other Bitdevs around the country, this is an event for those interested in discussing and participating in the research and development of Bitcoin and related protocols.
We'll spend the first portion of the event discussing technical components: pull requests in the Bitcoin Core, lnd, network statistics, research papers, technical blog posts, and other relevant content.
During the second portion, we will have a more broad-reaching educational discussion (generally in the form of a fireside chat or presentation), followed by feedback and Q&A. To complete the meeting, members are free to present open-source projects, companies, research, and other relevant materials.
Additional Details
We always have dinner right after our Socratic Seminar events! Location still TBD. Join our Telegram group for more information: https://t.me/+hk_V3SDCnDE1MWNh
Parking: We're getting a reduced Valet Rate of $15. Street Parking is $2.00/hr until 7pm. The Smartpark on 10th & Yamhill is also a decent option.
