Mostly focused on the concepts, this workshop will be intermixed with some Python programming examples. In a world where women earn less money than men and spend, on average, eleven fewer years in the workforce, women have to plan and work harder than their male counterparts. No more excuses! It’s time to take ahold of financial planning so that you can make clear, confident money decisions that will best benefit your future.
Join us for an evening of discussion about all things personal finance. The speaker will be Amanda Holden of Invested Development, who uses humor and candor to educate women on long-term financial planning and investing. She will be available for questions after the presentation.

* **LtSense: using Python to monitor Environmental Sensor Networks** by Sumit Khanna
> In 2011, I started working with graduate students at the University of Cincinnati to tackle the problem of monitoring storm water runoff. With a grant from the city, we set out to create open source tools for sensor networks. This presentation will be about LtSense, a tool used to handle data from environmental sensors.
> LtSense was written in Python and is designed to work with python-mini on OpenWRT router hardware with 8MB ~ 16MB of storage. It can read data from several different types of sensors, handle unreliable transport, and submit data to our BigSense web service for aggregation.

Bring a laptop, log in to the gitbook, and add a chapter!
Pick a topic you know and share tips,
Tell a story about your experiences - good and bad - with bringing accessibility to the products you work on, or pick an aspect of implementing accessibility that has puzzled you (like, accessible alert colors), do a little research online and share your results!
