Следы армии Пруссии и двух мировых войн сохранились на участке площадью 495 гектаров, который стал домом для главного аэропорта города в 1970-х годах, а затем в 2020 году он закрылся. После постройки аэропорта, территория держалась как взлетные полосы. И около трех метров с каждой стороны были расчищены, а другие участки остались. За 2 года более 10 тонн взрывчатых веществ и боеприпасов были перемещены или благополучно взорваны с 20 гектаров.
Но Тегель нельзя сравнивать с другими орудиями. Ведь его огромный мощный терминал, лабиринтные проходы — вышка связи — уже обрели новую цель. Благодаря многолетним инвестициям в размере 8 миллиардов евро он стремится к тому, чтобы стать одним из самых амбициозных умных городов в Европе.
Новый проект Berlin TXL, был разработан как безопасная экосредное общество, полное устойчивых технологий, с интегрированным университетским городком и лабораториями и безнец центрами. Он позиционируется как следующая глава городской жизни, которая хочет написать и последующие главы.

Join PDXWIT as we celebrate Native American Heritage Month! In this virtual mixer, Natives In Tech (https://nativesintech.org/) members will share their career journeys and advice. You’ll also connect with recruiters and hiring managers in a breakout session after the main event. Don’t miss out on this opportunity!
This community will center the experiences of Indigenous peoples of North America. While this group is for folks that have a grounding in their Native American identities, we understand that Indigenous folks exist around the globe and welcome you as well. We recognize the varied experiences of indigeneity for those who have had barriers in reclaiming their culture.

2/ You'll pair off w/ a founder you've never met before
3/ 9:30am we'll walk two by two for an hour, to the best of our ability, and you will help each other w/ a current existing problem you're facing
Last time we had about 30 founders show up, please tell a founder friend to sign up too, now, ASAP

Walking to 2808 SE 9th Ave - 24 minute walk
Tour Past Lives (makerspace, metal, wood, machine, creative space) - 15 minutes
Walk to 107 SE Washington St unit 700 - 24 minutes
Tour Upstart Collective (shared space for founders) - 15 minutes
All founder walkers are free to work for the day from either Past Lives or Upstart Collective for the day, so bring your laptops
