Do you have a business idea that you think has potential, but you want some experts to weigh in? Or perhaps you’re already making your dream a reality, have some investment, and want to keep your momentum going? Perhaps you’re somewhere in between.
Get in front of OVF investors so they can provide you with informal, constructive feedback and connections. 90% of OVF investors have started or run a business at some point in their career, and this is a no-pressure way to tap into their connections and get early feedback from these local entrepreneurs and tech leaders.
Space is limited, so please be sure to register early.
Agenda:

5:30pm Entrepreneur Pitches (3 mins & 2 min Q&A) - up to 12 companies
6:30pm Entrepreneurs/Investors Connect

Portland Design Thinkers is excited to announce an evening with Mary Sherwin: Lessons From the Trenches of Teaching & Consulting on Design Thinking
Mary Sherwin has been teaching the ins and outs of product design and design thinking at the graduate level for over 10 years, from California College of the Arts to Copenhagen Institute of Interaction Design to Pacific Northwest College of Art and everywhere in between. In this talk, she’ll go over what her students have appreciated most over the years: stronger and better ways to use tried-and-true design thinking tools. Did you ever really get taught how to brainstorm? What about timeboxing? Event cycles within journey maps? |

Portland was thinking green WAY before it was cool. We're convening some of our most experienced voices in startup funding to talk about the resources and relationships that are helping to turn earth-friendly ideas into companies that are making a difference in the fight against climate change.
Bring your questions, your hoodies, and your most *disruptive* tech jargon, because we're talking STARTUPS. |
