Since winning the 2008 if.comedy Best Newcomer Award for her debut solo show Sarah Millican's Not Nice at the Edinburgh Fringe Festival, Millican is fast on her way to becoming a household name. She has notched up a number of appearances on comedy shows including Mock The Week, Michael McIntyre's Comedy Roadshow, Have I Got News For You, 8 Out Of 10 Cats, Live At The Apollo and The Bubble. In addition, Millican has written and recorded her own Radio 4 series, Sarah Millican's Support. After two critically acclaimed, sell out Edinburgh Fringe runs in 2008 and in 2009 with Typical Woman, Millican brings her show Chatterbox to stages around the country. The sweet and filthy Geordie's stand-up show promises jokes about life, love and what to do when your boyfriend puts a sock on your boob during sex. Other awards include Chortle Best Headliner 2010, Chortle Breakthrough Act 2009 and Best Breakthrough Act, North-West Comedy Awards 2006.
