This three-week workshop will introduce participants to the stained glass copper foil technique — a versatile, cold-glass method that allows for intricate, lightweight, and sculptural designs.
Create a colorful window panel, a lantern that glows from within, or a unique lampshade. This class will help you to confidently realize your ideas in two- or three-dimensional form.
The class will cover visual design, pattern-making, structural planning, and hands-on skill-building. Cold glass working techniques will be the focus. No kiln forming or lampworking will be involved.
##What You'll Learn:
* How to cut and shape glass using hand tools
* How to apply copper foil and prepare pieces for soldering
