Do you like HTML? HYPERTEXT MARKUP LANGUAGE! The backbone of the web! If you couldn't tell, we do too.
On Saturday, August 2nd, 2025, we'll be gathering in places around the world to write and celebrate HTML.
This event is an HTML freewrite, where we get together and write some new HTML sites together, for fun.
small questions and their answers:
- what should I bring?
- yourself
- something you can write html on
- some excitement or ideas
- maybe some art supplies?
- what should I do?
- start with an empty html file!
- build a website for [your dog/a friend/some plants/a poem you like/something else]
- if you're particularly savvy, maybe write some javascript??? (click here for fun or hit space)
