Part conversation with experts, part unconference, and part hands-on experimentation, we hope you come away with a fluency, confidence, and understanding to engage further (critically and creatively) with this rapidly evolving and increasingly prevalent technology, and find a community to continue this dialogue.
Learn more about the current state and future of the thing called “AI” at the moment.
What it is and isn’t, what’s real and what’s hype; what can it do and what are its limitations;
What are applications and implications. What are potential avenues where it can do amazing things?
What does it mean for the future of learning, work, and innovation?
And should we worry?
This introductory convening — a collaborative conversation and experiential learning — will lead to more advanced skill-building and topically-focussed workshops, hackathon, and an unconference and symposium later in the fall and winter.
