The "November" meeting of the Oregon Computer Consultants Association will be held on December 3rd to avoid conflicts with Thanksgiving week.
Please join us at 6 PM on December 3rd for our approximately-monthly computer consultants' meeting, held in person at Tom's Pancake House in Beaverton.
Agenda:
6:00 - 6:30 PM: Board Meeting, all members welcome
6:30 - 8:00 PM: General Meeting: Dinner and discussion about tech issues, new technology and problems or solutions we've encountered.
Scheduled Topics:
Zoom Phones. How they work and the good and bad.
The case against 2FA!
Firewalls. What are their costs versus benefits and when to use them. Which ones do you install? What do they provide that a simple NAT router doesn’t?
