About Us
A few of us connected on the My Climate Journey Slack group, looking to meet other folks in PDX working in the climate sector. We had so much fun at our first happy hour that we've made it a regular thing, and we'd love if you'd join us. We make spaces for thought-leaders, researchers, entrepreneurs, and people passionate about sustainability to meet, hang out, and learn.

This Month's Speaker
We'll be chatting with Kara Valikai about creating action and accountability around sustainability goals in the world of apparel.
Kara is the Director of Sustainable Business Integration & Reporting at lululemon. Including prior roles at Nike and Walmart, she has industry experience in retail, e-commerce, sportswear, and fashion and expertise in growth strategies, ESG, and supply chain.
Our Holiday Toast!
As a little nod to the season, we're working with local fave Division Wines to curate a tasting flight of unique biodynamic and ecologically responsible wines. There will be a considered selection of different varietals and disciplines represented, and through this we'll learn a bit about how earth-friendly practices are incorporated into wine-making.
We'll have some light snacks on hand too, because we all know what happens if you drink wine for two hours on an empty tummy.
A contribution of $20 will cover you for ample wine and snacks (venmo @topherburns or feel free to bring cash) |
