Our next Content Strategy Meetup up will be our first Quarterly Book Club and weâre reading Content Rules by Ann Handley and C.C. Chapman.
Weâll meet at 5:30 PM on Thursday, February 24th. This time weâll meet at Katherine Grayâs office for a more sit-down setting.
While we usually meet the third Thursday of the month, weâre going to push this meeting out to the fourth week to give people a little more time to finish the book.
And, speaking of that, even if you donât get to finish the book, come anyway! Weâll have a one-pager of the top points (from at least one personâs perspective) so you can join in. And if youâve ever been in a book club you know that the conversations often wander into areas not specifically covered by the book, though weâll do our best to stay on topic all the same.
If you donât yet have the book please consider buying it at Powellâs Bookstore. You may have heard that they, like most indie bookstores, are really feeling the cash pinch due to changes in the book industry and they laid off people yesterday. Powellâs even has the book available as an e-book through Google. |
