For 85 years, LEGO has been a staple of play. Around the world, the iconic bricks bring children and parents together to discover the wonder of making and building anything imaginable.
A key mission for the LEGO Group in recent years has been education; the company is developing curriculum to inspire students to engage and learn effectively. That mandate means Lego has extended its reach into coding for kids, STEM projects, robots, software, and classroom initiatives.
Anna Ly oversees innovation for LEGO Education. Before joining LEGO, Anna worked at Sesame Workshop, the global non-profit behind Sesame Street, creating innovative learning experiences for kids. Among her contributions there was the launch of Me.Mu for Kinect, which helps children with autism practice social skills while developing general motor coordination, helping earning her recognition as a Forbes 30 under 30 recipient.
