Christian Höppler, bass, and Karl Fogel, piano, will perform Franz Schubert's famous song cycle <i>Die Winterreise</i>. The concert is free but donations are requested, all proceeds from which will benefit the Software Freedom Conservancy.
These guys, both amateurs who work in Free software, have been rehearsing at my house and they are AWESOME. Goosebumps. The lyrics are in German but there will be translations.
The 8:30 ending time is real - you will be able to attend the other parties, make it to dinner on time, etc.
