A: Our bike room is downstairs and keycard access only, though we can arrange for someone to be down there and let people in. There are also bike racks outside of the building. Q: Should I consider using public transportation? A: There is a bus stop across the street, but parking in the neighborhood is ample so it shouldn't be an issue to drive. Purpose: PDXWIT is a community-based non-profit organization. Our purpose is to strengthen the Portland women in tech community by offering educational programs, partnerships, mentorships, resources and opportunities. We are unifying a supportive environment for current and potential women in tech, all of whom are committed to helping each other. Our goal is to bring together and empower women in tech and to encourage others to pursue tech careers. This is our step towards reducing the gender imbalance in the industry and addressing the current negative effects of that imbalance on women. Our events are inclusive. ALL people who support our purpose are welcome. ***Registration through Eventbrite [https://www.eventbrite.com/e/pdxwit-women-in-tech-in-the-creative-industry-18-tickets-39661255884] is required to avoid having to manually check-in at the event *** Join PDXWIT as we collaborate with Portland Ad Federation (PAF) for a fun and informative panel discussion.
