The CSS group will meet informally at Harder House 104 at 4pm on 10/7/16, and begin discussion of this month's article at 4:30. We start wrapping up the discussion at 5:30 and continue more informally until 6pm.
The reading for the October discussion is here: <a href="https://arxiv.org/abs/1608.08225">https://arxiv.org/abs/1608.08225</a> . We recommend reading (or at least trying to read) the article beforehand so that you'll be prepared to participate meaningfully in the discussion. This is true even if the article seems to be "over your head." Trying to understand a challenging topic can be very worthwhile.
But even if you are not able to do the reading, you are still welcome to come to the discussion, meet new friends, and just listen if that's your preference. |
