description nil Maker Faire is the Greatest Show (and Tell) on Earth—a family-friendly showcase of invention, creativity and resourcefulness, and a celebration of the Maker Movement. It’s a place where people show what they are making, and share what they are learning. Operating in and around the OMSI complex, Portland's Mini Maker Fair 2016 is expected to draw around 20,000 visitors over this 2 day extravaganza of creativity and making. With a wide range of local makers, presentations, workshops, activities and vendors, there's literally something here for everyone. From textiles to sculpture, 3d printing to bee keeping, steampunk hovercraft to supersonic ping-pong balls, you never know what you'll find as you explore Portland's Mini maker Faire 2016. Getting Tickets Tickets to the 2016 Portland Mini Maker Faire will include the north parking lot and the museum. Tickets on sale now! One-Day Passes: $15 Adults, $10 Youth 3-13 and Seniors 63+ Two-Day Passes: $25 Adults, $15 Youth 3-13 and Seniors 63+ OMSI Members get 50% off all tickets Food & Drink A food cart pod will be serving up local food and flavor, with Full Sail beer, Union Wine Co. wine, and Reverend Nat's hard cider available at the bar. OMSI's restaurant, Theory, will also be open with wood-fire pizza, salads, sandwiches, and Salt & Straw ice cream. venue_details nil Portland Mini Maker Faire is located throughout the OMSI campus. This will include the main museum and OMSI's north parking lot. The Portland Streetcar and the MAX Orange Line now stop at OMSI. Free valet bike parking will be offered starting at 9:30am each day. Taking public transit or biking is strongly encouraged! The south parking lot, bridge lot, and overflow lot will be available for visitor parking at the museum (carpooling is encouraged!). Parking in the OMSI lot is $5/day. For detailed information about getting to OMSI, visit Visitor Info. Please note that no pets are allowed at the faire, but service animals are welcome.
