The newest version of Javascript is so fundamentally different then ES5 that continuing to use the language in the “old” way is no longer best practice. This talk presents those parts of ES6 that revolutionize the language, and demonstrates how to use them.</p> <p><b>About the Presenter</b></p> <p>Alvin Pivowar has been a computer professional since 1970. He grew up in the Washington, D.C. area and obtained “classical” computer science education, with an emphasis on compiler construction and operating system design.</p> <p>• He has over 10 years’ experience in the hand-held / wireless industry.</p> <p>• He has over 20 years’ experience in the back-end primarily with .NET and MEAN.</p> <p>• Since 2012 (v. 1.1) he has been an expert / evangelist with front-end technologies, especially AngularJS.</p> |
