description <p>To kick of the Summer of Accessibility 2015, the Portland Accessibility and User Experience Meetup  and Code for Portland are co-hosting a meetup. We will bring together civic hackers, accessibility experts, and creative problem solvers to discuss how we as a community can improve accessibility in Portland.</p> <p><b>Speakers</b></p> <p><b>Alex Li</b> from Microsoft will be joining us to share his extensive experience in global accessibility policies and technical standards development. He is a leader in his field and has successfully brought together business partners, government entities, and standards organizations.</p> <p><b>Catherine Nikolovski</b> is founder and Executive Director of HackOregon, a community-powered non-profit building civic data projects to promote engagement, awareness, and quality of life.
